Now Peep These: ‘Hugo’ And ‘The Thing’ Posters

This day holds more in store than just The Dark Knight Rises teaser poster. We also get a look at a couple of other one-sheets. One is based on a beloved piece of children’s literature and directed by a master of cinema. The other is based on a beloved film about people’s heads turning into scorpion creatures and their chest cavities becoming gnashing mouths. I can’t decide which I’d like to see more.

The Thing serves as a prequel to John Carpenter‘s classic and stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton as researchers in the Artic doing battle with an otherwordly being attempting to take over the planet. Just like Justin Bieber.

Hugo from Martin Scorsese adapts Brian Selznick’s The Invention Of Hugo Cabret and tells the story of a mysterious boy living in a Paris train station. A trailer is expected this week so if you love trains, you’re going into the weekend happy.
