Summit Entertainment's The Perks of Being a Wallflower is supposed to ease some of the pain of the Twilight series coming to an end. And in service of that, many young up-and-coming thespians are being cast in this thing, like the previously signed Emma Watson and Mae Whitman (yes, her). Now, Nina Dobrev of the alleged television series "The Vampire Diaries" is cast in it as well, along with fresh up-and-coming sta Paul Rudd. I hope this is finally Rudd's big break, I love that guy!

Dobrev, in case you were wondering, is playing the role of "Candace," which I assume means something to those who have read the book. Which, if you haven't, you better hurry up and do before it's too embarrassing to be seen with in public. (Deadline)
