MPAA Doesn’t Want ‘Sucker Punch’ Audiences To Know How Good Sex With Jon Hamm Really Is

Wednesday, March 23 by

Sex between VERY attractive people shouldn’t affect your MPAA rating. If Leo DiCaprio and Brooklyn Decker have filthy, full frontal sex in the Yogi Bear movie, I think it should still get a PG or G. Whatever it originally got. Andy Samberg and Janeane Garofalo? NC-17. As such, I feel that the deletion of a Jon Hamm-Emily Browning sex scene to preserve a PG-13 rating for Sucker Punch is pretty silly. But then again, Sucker Punch looks pretty silly itself, so perhaps it’s all in keeping with a theme.

Browning states that in the final cut, Snyder had to edit the scene down so that she appeared less “into it.” That’s upsetting. The last thing you would want to convey to a young audience is that sex with the likes of Jon Hamm is anything less than mind-blowing. Sooner or later, teenage girls will find out what sex with Jon Hamm is really like. You’re just delaying the inevitable, MPAA.

Of course, Snyder is left with little choice but to obey the board after Watchmen fell flat with an R rating. Given the clusterfuckiness (industry term) of Sucker Punch, Snyder and Co. will need all the help they can get from dumb little kids that don’t know any better than to see this movie. (Playlist)

I saw a lot of reviews today. By all accounts, yes, it is awful. Like, monumentally awful.

There are horrible reviews about this movie. I was going to go and see this, but now I am unsure.

Sir, This is one of the most retarded articles I have ever read. The MPAA system was designed to for parents to know what is in movies so they can censor them for there children. Your argument that watching good looking people have sex is all right is complete crap. Do the world a favor and jump off a cliff.

The movie, while its not going to win any Oscars, was fun to watch! It’s SUPPOSED to be silly. That’s obvious going in. If you go into it with an open mind and need for something ridiculous, it’s great! Poeple are being so hard on this movie for some reason. And you know what? This article made me laugh too, and I can’t believe someone took it seriously enough that they called the writer of it ‘retarded.’

What is happening to America’s sense of humor? This movie, THIS ARTICLE, is all meant in good fun! People are so oblivious! Sheesh!

Penn Collis, I just want you to know- I laughed. Oh man, I would have loved to have seen a Jon Hamm sex scene. It’s not like he ever has sex on that show Angry Gentlemen or whatever it’s called.
