Mark Wahlberg, being the crafty rapper/movie star that he is, is always extremely picky about what his next project will be. Not ever screenplay holds the genius of a The Happening or a Max Payne, after all. So it isn't known whether Bait and Switch, a spec script from new screenwriter Matthew J. O'Neill, will actually be a Mark Wahlberg Experience like Universal Pictures is developing it to be. It's being produced for Universal by Scott Stuber's Stuber Pictures, which is also producing the upcoming Wahlberg comedy Ted.

Details on the plot are nil, except that it's an "action-comedy," which is certainly the most vital of all film genres. I'm hoping that the title is a play on words and the movie involves the sport of competitive big bass fishing, but this is mere speculation on my part. (via Variety)
