Look for Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg to re-create that awkward, hilarious chemistry they shared onscreen in The Other Guys with the comedy Daddy's Home. Taking the similarities one step further, Daddy's Home was even co-written by Adam McKay, who directed and co-wrote The Other Guys. However, this time around, directing duties will be shared by Horrible Bosses 2 director Sean Anders and John Morris.

According to Deadline, the plot is as follows:
Daddy’s Home casts Ferrell as a mild-mannered radio executive who strives to become the best stepdad ever to his wife’s two children. Complications ensue when their freewheeling, freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing the stepdad to compete for the affection of the kids.

Ok. This sounds like it could be pretty terrific. I could see Wahlberg playing a disaffected jackass as much as I could see Ferrell playing a desperate one at the end of his rope. I wonder who will play the hot wife?
