Kevin Connolly Would Like To Direct A Kimbo Slice Biopic Because… Weird

Kevin Connolly is eager to get back behind the camera once “Entourage” puts the top up on its Lincoln Continental this year. What film project has attracted him to yell into an old timey megaphone you ask? Well, it’s none other than a biopic based on the life of Kimbo Slice for some reason. Here Kevin explains his attraction to the project in words that isn’t grammar.

“Kimbo Slice is known as one of the first YouTube celebrities. He was the first person I ever sat in front of a computer and typed somebody’s name into YouTube. His fights ended up on the internet, his backyard fights, and he all of the sudden… became this celebrity.”

“It’s so personal to sit with a writer who you don’t know and tell them your deepest, darkest secrets and your life story, so I think it took him a second to get used to. But him and the writer really hit it off, and I couldn’t be happier with the script. I’m ready to go.”

He couldn’t be happier with the script? No surprise there. I’m just glad that we’ll have Spielberg’s Abraham Lincoln biopic before we have Kevin Connolly’s Kimbo Slice biopic. It seems like a win for the universe. But who will play Kimbo? Time for a casting short list. I nominate Bradley Cooper, Tom Hardy, Marcia Gay Harden, and Michael Clarke Duncan.
