Justin Lin is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand action film directors, so it should come as no surprise that he's been tapped to bring us the next installment of the Bourne franchise.

But since they can't just use the Robert Ludlum books as a script, the film will need a writer. And it now has one in Andrew Baldwin, a relatively unknown screenwriter who should have no problem adjusting since all expectations for the series have disappeared since the departure of Matt Damon.

The fifth Bourne film doesn't have a title, plot, or cast, but these are the sorts of gaps that writers and directors get paid to fill in, so I would completely expect the film to have all those things before it starts shooting. Otherwise...
