James Franco apparently has some steam he wants to work off after last night's Oscars, because his latest project is noticeably more violent than usual. And I'm not talking about pretend Pineapple Express-style violence, I'm talking about REAL violence. He's collaborating (conspiring?) with director Harmony Korine on a new movie, and it might be pretty hardcore:
"The duo is reportedly planning to stage a fight between actual L.A. street gangs and they might allow the gangs to use real weapons and hurt one another."

Notice that it says "might allow," not "will allow." I can't imagine what would make up their minds one way or the other - ethical concerns, perhaps? After all, how far removed is this from James Franco orchestrating a "Bumfights" resurgence? (via Vulture)
