James Franco is combining his love of filmmaking with his love of being smarter than you realized. With his indie feature directing effort The Ape successfully forgotten, he’s ready to top the call sheet once again. This time, the Flyboys star is eyeballing two of the greatest novels of the twentieth century, Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying and McCarthy’s Blood Meridian.
Both films will be adapted from scripts written by Franco, because he isn’t able to keep himself busy enough with acting in movies, acting in soap operas, earning degrees, writing books, shooting viral videos, hosting the Oscars, growing cool facial hair, and being squinty. Talk about driven. I refuse to leave my bed if the floor is too cold and I don’t have socks nearby. (ShowBizz411)
