Quentin Tarantino's next film will be a western. We already knew that. He's saying it won't be his second western because he considers Django Unchained a "southern." Whatever. He's the boss.

The western QT is currently in preproduction on will be called The Hateful Eight. If you noticed that could be a nod to The Magnificent Seven, an iconic western, congratulations, you earn an automatic C in my fake cinema history class. If you're aware that The Magnificent Seven itself was a retelling of Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai, give yourself a C+.

Tarantino's film will definitely star Christoph Waltz, and will probably star the other QT regulars you're thinking of.

And that's it. We don't have any plot points yet, but those will come as Quentin goes about town, yapping as he so often does about Uma Thurman and...well, just Uma Thurman.
