The film, which opens with a Tusnami destroying a Japanese resort, has been pulled out of respect for the country.
Warner Brothers has decided to pull its film Hereafter from about 180 Japanese movie theaters in the wake of this past week's disasters. The film, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Matt Damon, opens with a terrifyingly realistic Tsunami destroying a Japanese resort. The film, out of DVD tomorrow in the states, opened last month in Japan, and it seems only fair to end its Japanese release in light of the tragedy that has befallen its people. (Deadline)
