In order to convert the Oscar buzz surrounding The King's Speech into sweet money money money, executive producer Harvey Weinstein wants to tone down the film's profanity to bring the R rating down to a PG-13 or PG. Because if there's one thing teenagers love, it's historical British dramas.

“The British numbers are huge because the rating lets families see the movie together,” said Weinstein. “Tom and I are trying to find a unique way to do this that keeps his vision of the movie.”

But that still doesn't deal with the issue of actually getting teenagers interested in seeing the film. I suggest Weinstein pays Lil Wayne to develop a stutter. (LA Times)
