Now we know exactly whom will be the target for a talking raccoon's laser pistols. Breaking Dawn and The Hobbit co-star Lee Pace is in talks to play the villain in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Pace was originally in the running to play the film's lead, Star-Lord Peter Quill, but that role eventually went to Chris Pratt after he impressed everybody with his Zero Dark Thirty muscles. However, it seems Pace made a good impression on director James Gunn despite his inability to pack on mass.

Once negotiations finalize, Pace will join Pratt, Zoe Saldana's Gamora, Micheal Rooker's Yondu, Dave Batista's Drax, the aforementioned raccoon and a tree in Marvel's Phase Two cosmic epic. The identity of Pace's character is being kept secret but the Internet theorizes he'll play The Controller, a henchman of the evil titan Thanos. As of right now, that's an unconfirmed rumor that seems pretty unlikely given that The Controller doesn't even have eyebrows. Much less, ones that take up 18% of his face. (The Wrap)
