‘Go the F*ck to Sleep’ Being Adapted For The Big Screen Somehow

The New York Times best-selling fake children’s book “Go the F*ck to Sleep” written by Adam Mansbach and illustrated by Ricardo Cortés is headed to movie theaters. Fox 2000 have teamed up with Twilight Saga producer Karen Rosenfelt to acquire the rights, which leads me to believe that Karen Rosenfelt hates real books.

However, there is some talent behind this thing. Ken Marino and his wife, Burning Love/Children’s Hospital writer Erica Oyama have been hired to adapt the script. It’s unclear if the film will focus on stressed out parents negotiating the moods and excessive energy of their difficult children or if audiobook narrator Samuel Jackson will star as a scary hardass hired to babysit misbehaving children. If there are no plans for the latter, let’s please make sure there are now plans for the latter. (Deadline)
