They already call the shots on a sprawling, epic fantasy series to which they're committed for at least another few years, but that's not stopping Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss from making a move into features. The pair will write, produce, and direct an adaptation of Stephen Hunter's novel, Dirty White Boys. The story follows three dangerous escaped convicts terrorizing the Southwest while alluding a state trooper who would really like to kill them.

It's unclear if Benioff and Weiss will get this project before cameras after Thrones comes to an end or while they're sitting around waiting for George R.R. Martin to get his ass in gear and write. At any rate, busy busy! Some men just don't like to go home. (Deadline)
