Fox Yields To Non-Existent Demand For ‘Daredevil’ Reboot
America's least-dear superhero, Daredevil, is getting the reboot treatment, with David Slade directing.
America's least-dear superhero, Daredevil, is getting the reboot treatment. This is getting ridiculous. Why would Fox reboot a mediocre-at-best film that's only eight years old? Well, according to Coming Soon, if they don't make another Daredevil film within a year, the rights revert back to Marvel. So at least they're doing it for all the right reasons. Legal interests rights always spur the greatest cinematic achievements.
Director David Slade got his card pulled to direct the film, so expect to see something in the vain of his previous projects, ranging from Hard Candy to 30 Days of Night to Twilight: Eclipse. So Daredevilwill either be Ellen Page or a vampire. Maybe both. (Coming Soon)
