You know her as the secret Olsen twin, but now she's making a name for herself after Sundance.
Elizabeth Olsen is currently getting great notices for her performance in the one-shot-only thriller Silent House at Sundance. Now it appears she's starting to get some work thanks to her performance as well. She's just been announced as joining Robert De Niro, Cillian Murphy, and Sigourney Weaver of Buried-director Rodrigo Cortés' thriller Red Light. The story is about "a psychologist (Weaver) and her assistant (Olsen) whose study of paranormal activity leads them to investigate a world-renowned psychic (De Niro).” Creepy -- almost as creepy as living with the Olsen twi--ugh, never mind. The article points out that the role is a good fit for Olsen because she is currently studying psychology at NYU. Hey, I studied psychology too, can I play a psychologist's assistant in a movie? Note: I'm not related to the Olsen twins.
Buried is one of my favorite movies of last year so I'm definitely excited to what see Cortés does next, lost Olsen triplet or no. (Collider)
