Lars Von Trier, who's never been accused of having a light hand when it comes to his subject matter, has managed to out do the intensity of Dancer in the Dark, and the starkness of Dogville simply by putting out a movie about sex that's really, really long.

Five hours long. Broken into two releases.

The biggest tragedy here is that the film won't be ready for consideration for the Cannes film festival this year, but hopefully that bad news is offset by the fact that there will be a whole lot of male nudity, or "dicks" if you will, in the five-hour jambaroo.

Despite the offbeat nature of this, and all his films, Von Trier continues to pull talent such as Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, Connie Nielsen, and Christian Slater.

Christian Slater!
