David O. Russell Can’t Decide Which Set He Wants To Scream On Next

Tuesday, February 22 by

David O. Russell has had a pretty good year, thanks to his mostly-acclaimed boxing drama The Fighter. And now it seems he’s having trouble deciding what to tackle next, if this article from The Playlist is to be believed. It lists approximately 8 billion possible next steps for Russell, including but not limited to:

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune – An adaptation of the popular video game.

The Silver Linings Playbook – A comedy/drama possibly starring Anne Hathaway and Bradley Cooper.

2 Guns - A comedic actioner with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.

Cocaine Cowboys - Based on a documentary of the same name about a drug dealer from New York who moves to Miami.

Old St. Louis - A comedy in the same vein as Paper Moon starring Vince Vaughn.

Whew. This is not even mentioning all the projects he’s been attached to and isn’t any longer. Or the untitled Ice CubeDirty Harry-like” project. Take some time off, Dave! Who do you think you are?  James Franco?
