David O. Russell and Mark Wahlberg's most recent collaboration, The Fighter, received widespread critical and audience acclaim. So why wouldn't they get the band back together again? Now we know what their (probably, unless Russell does Uncharted: Drake's Fortune next after all) next project is going to be: The Silver Lining Playbook. It looks to be a pretty different beast from The Fighter, trading that movie's inspirational true story for something pretty depressing:
"[The movie is] about a delusional forme high school history teacher who's just been released into the custody of his mom. Believing that he’s only been away for a few months instead of the four years he just spent in a mental institution, the teacher sets about wooing back his ex-wife."

What, just because a guy's been in a mental institution for four years, he can't get back with his ex-wife? Who's making all these rules, man? (Vulture)
