It's well known that Beatty called in just about every favour in town to make that flick, too bad that it is known now only for being released in a summer season of equally shit movies (Days of Thunder anyone?) Beatty can keep hold of the rights, and please may he long continue to use them the way he has for 2 decades, by doing nothing.
