What conversation occurred between your last exchange about The Ledge and your question about Jax and SOA? I imagine you and Charlie discussed Jax/SOA before your published question about Jax’s character in Season 4, so it’d be great if you could post the audio leading up to the actual question. I listened to the audio and yes it was Charlie’s voice. But I did not hear the whole interview and sound bites are just that. I don’t really know what all he had to say. ‘Bites’ out of an interview can definitely be taken in the direction the interviewer wants them to be taken. Be careful of any sound bite you hear, can come back and bite you in the ass.

So what if he said that Kurt and Charlie have both said this reporter baited him and in reply to the audio it was said why do you think they started it after the question was read. It really does not matter anyway because fans of the show no it is a great show and the writing is amazing and that Charlie is also amazing at playing Jax. I also highly doubt that there is an actor or actress out there that did not one point or another wish they could change something that the writers did so who cares. Kurt Sutter is brilliant and I will continue to watch and a piece of trash article like this wont change that.

I can understand why the writer of the show would feel upset after hearing about these comments.
However, Charlie doesn’t sound angry, or rushed, or coerced, or cornered. I don’t know why he chose this moment to say what he said. But, people think what they think.

They can be as nice as pie. They can be wonderful coworkers. They can be wonderful actors and wonderful humans. But they still have their own thoughts. No one really knows what someone else really thinks. And, there will be hell to pay for this.

Everyone loves Katey. I know I do.
I screamed, literally screamed and roared and applauded when she won.
I’ve never done that for any actor in any category in any award show, ever. I just so thought she deserved it. Her scenes; when she went through the whole rape ordeal, were brilliant. And I never thought someone would be rewarded, no matter how deserving, for a part on this show.

I love her strength, as a mother. But, let’s face it, she is also a little bit crazy. She’s all about family. But, it seems she may have had a hand in killing her son’s father. And, she all but insisted that he get his hands bloody. She wanted him to be a murderer; for the club, that is.

She’s a complicated, wonderfully, rich, sexy character. Her husband has written her a beautiful role that worships her sexuality, and power, and vulnerability, and strength.

From the moment I saw the scar line, on her chest, during the opening scenes, cut to make her look sexy..and hot, no matter what, I loved this role. And Kate gives it every, single thing she has. And, it shows. Hence: the reward. So, amen for that.

Apparently those aren’t the parts that bother Charlie. He does play Jax after all. He also probably has his own thoughts about how one should deal with a Mother. I just wish everyone would calm down.
I don’t know anything about the writer of this article. But, if he’s on the up and up, I
really can’t blame the writer of the article for catching Charlie, and getting such an interesting/albeit, controversial, response to a relatively normal question:
Where does he see/think his character needs to go..in season four.

Who could have predicted he would say what he did?

Nevertheless, I’m sure Charlie loves everyone on the show. I’m sure he loves Mr. Sutter and his wife, and never meant to maybe be so candid.
Maybe it was a fleeting thought.

What ever it was, it didn’t seem to come from a place of anger or hatred.
So. I hope everyone just takes a breath.

I love Sons of Anarchy, but I wouldn’t mind a little less death..

What drug are you on, He clearly says what was written last year was unbelievable and he wants that to change next season and he was the writer he would change it. I love the show just the way it is and this is not the 1st time Charlie has blasted the writing for SOA. It is at least the 2nd time in a year

Its obvious fromlistening to this clip that in NO way is he talking about the writers in any sense. this twatwaffle interviewer asked him a question on where the CHARACTER was going to go and he replied as such, and if you listen to the clip he talks about acting and directing himself so obviously he’s gonna have his own opinion but mostly he seems like he’s talking as if this character was real then he wouldn’t be in this situation and it being remedied through the shows story a total change in writing style…go burn in a chemical fire Mr.fred topel.

Seems to me that he did say it….some what…i think the interviewer wrote the article in a different “tone” than it was said…charlie was just giving he’s a opinion as a writer….i believe opinion is not critizism….plainly put ..this sh*te was written to get some panties in a bunch…i believe kurt’s noun for you on his blog was perfect…just like he’s storylines.

The only good way to know whether the story was twisted would be to hear the whole interview. Frankly, I do think the interviewer was being antagonistic, just from the written part – Charlie didn’t seem to agree with how he asked questions – certainly the interviewer was phrasing his questions (the homophobic part) in a way that seemed antagonistic. We don’t know what questions specifically came before this. It’s a tough call, though, since Charlie sounded fairly calm.
