Read more about the film after the jump.
According to Tribeca’s programmers, the film "susses out the secrets behind this legendary band’s determined and charismatic leader Jon Bon Jovi." I wonder if they’ll cover the Ally McBeal years, and what his secret was for "killing a great show?" Sorry, my girlfriend made me write that. She’s a huge RDJ fan, and, well, "Bon Jovi is no RDJ." Fair enough.
I’m hoping that When We Were Beautiful unlocks Bon Jovi’s power of flight, as seen at 3:30 in this video.

This rock doc comes on the heels of Sundance’s Anvil: The Story of Anvil, the trailer for which ScreenJunkies posted last week. Something tells me that Bon Jovi’s movie will be the Armageddon to Anvil’s Deep Impact. And if you don’t believe me, then you need a history lesson.
