Why on earth would Bill Murray jump into a film production with the human trainwreck that is Charlie Sheen? Duh. Because he’s such a good friend. It’s certainly odd that the notoriously choosy Murray would go from a Wes Anderson film (Moonrise Kingdom) to playing Franklin Delano
Bluth Roosevelt in Hyde Park on Hudson to A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III starring that winner of tiger blood, Charlie Sheen. But when you realize that the director of the latter, Roman Coppola, is besties with and a collaborator of Wes Anderson, you realize that this is all about friendship.
And Bill Murray just being awesome.
Does all this participation outweigh the fact that this is a film built around Charlie Sheen?
Yeah. Bill Murray’s pretty awesome.
Seriously. He’s awesome.
