You might have forgotten that there's a movie tentatively called Cocaine Cowboy trying to get made - it's reportedly one of the projects David O. Russell is considering taking on. Not sure how you forgot a movie with a snappy title like that, but whatever. Anyway, the original screenwriter of the project, Evan Wright (who also did"Generation Kill"), is being replaced by Andrea Berloff, who wrote World Trade Center. Here's what it's all about:
"The real-life story is based on Jon Roberts, an injured Vietnam vet who by the late 1970s had become a billion-dollar coke dealer in Miami, then government conduit and, eventually, prisoner."

This isn't the only project Berloff has coming up - she's also working on a screenplay about NWA called Straight Outta Compton and a TV pilot called "Verona." (via The Hollywood Reporter)
