‘Alien’ Creator H.R. Giger Joins 3D Prequel

Sunday, December 19 by

h.r.ginger alienH.R. Giger, the artist who designed the original Xenomorph, is on board for Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel. Not only that, but the prequel will be shot in 3D, and will probably be stretched into two films. Then again, all of this info comes from a poorly translated Swiss-television interview with Giger’s wife, and if there’s one thing my grandpa taught me, it’s never trust a German or a woman. Based on that logic, Giger’s wife is lying through her teeth, and her husband will not be part of the upcoming Alien animated short, which will be shot in 1D. Thanks, grandpa. I find it somewhat amusing that you can’t even spell the guy’s name right, even though the picture attached to the article has it spelled correctly.
