Worst Movies Of All Time
When talking about the worst movies of all time, we are discussing movies that were so bad many filmgoers and critics alike felt insulted that they had actually spent their money or time watching the movies. The worst movies of all time bridge several decades, but it has to be said that some of the more famous worst movies have all been made over the last 30 years or so. Check out more fail videos here if this list isn't enough for you.
"From Justin to Kelly"
We ranked this at the top of the worst movies of all time because not only was it a bad movie, but the concept and idea was so dreadfully awful. "From Justin to Kelly" involved two "American Idol" contestants who were admittedly popular at the time. Sadly, while the duo could apparently perform live Karaoke quite well, acting was not a skill either seemed to possess.
"The Room" is famous for being one of the worst movies of all time mainly because the writing, directing and acting is that which you would usually suspect to see in a failing student film. Tommy Wiseau was the writer, producer and star of thi atrocious flick. The movie was so universally bashed that Wiseau eventually claimed it was supposed to be a dark comedy, though the rest of the cast disagreed.
"Manos: The Hands Of Fate"
This movie released in 1966 is considered one of the worst movies of all time based mainly on an odd script that has several scenes seemingly included for no reason and a plotline that is both hard to follow and not especially exciting. Perhaps the best part of this terrible movie is that the main villan is supposed to be a mythical creature called a Satyr, though that is never alluded to or divulged in the film itself.
"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians"
While most holiday movies are given a bit of a pass if they are schlocky or less than spectacularly written, this flick makes the worst movies list thanks to just how bad it was. Released in 1964, the film centers on the fact that Mars does not have a Santa Claus and therefore some Martian parents kidnap St. Nick in order to make their children happy. Horrendously bad wackiness ensues.
While this flick certainly makes the list as one of the worst movies of all time, it also hold the prestigious title of the worst big budget science fiction film ever. "Battlefield Earth" is about a race of giant aliens who conquer earth and the ancestors of the survivors are little more than cave dwellers. Eventually the humans revolt and defeat the alien force. "Battlefield Earth" is often knocked as including far too much bad dialogue and hammy acting from its wide variety of well-known stars such as John Travolta, Barry Pepper and Forest Whitaker.
