Top 10 Worst Movies

Wednesday, March 9 by Yvonne Glasgow

There are many bad movies out there and this list of the top 10 worst movies include decades worth of horrible film making and bad acting. Avoid these rotten eggs when trying to have a good movie night; they really aren't worth the film they are printed on!

  1. “Paranormal Activity” was a film about a haunting that came out in 2007. It was portrayed as being “real,” but instead it was just boring and not at all scary. “Paranormal Activity” didn't even have any actors worth mentioning.
  2. “Gigli” from 2003 is on many top worst movie lists. This snore of a movie wasn't about anything important enough to mention. It starred Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez during their real life romance.
  3. “Glitter” was an epic fail of a film by diva Mariah Carey. This 2001 film is said to be similar to Carey's real life. Sorry her life was so boring.
  4. “Freddy Got Fingered” is a disgusting film starring the non-funny antics of Tom Green. This 2001 worst movie is definitely not family friendly and it is not for anyone with a queasy stomach. Also stars Rip Torn, Marisa Coughlan, Eddie Kaye Thomas and Anthony Michael Hall.
  5. “Howard the Duck” is 1986 comedy about a human-like duck that falls to Earth. Though coined a comedy, this not so funny film was not for the whole family. Stars Lea Thompson, Jeffrey Jones and Tim Robbins.
  6. “Judge Dredd” is a futuristic film from 1995 starring Sylvester Stallone. Not a popular film for the masses, this worst movie deserves its spot on this list. Also stars Armand Assante and Rob Schneider.
  7. “Cool as Ice” was a ridiculous movie made by white rapper Vanilla Ice. This 1991 joke of a film was supposed to be a loose remake of “Rebel Without A Cause,” now it is usually found nowhere.
  8. “Striptease” stars Demi Moore as a single mother working as a stripper. This 1996 film was the talk of many when it came out. And not because it was good. “Striptease” also stars Burt Reynolds and Armand Assante.
  9. “Godzilla” from 1998 starring Matthew Broderick did no justice to the original films. This big green monster film was a big green flop. It also starred Jean Reno, Maria Pitillo and Hank Azaria.
  10. “Jury Duty” has got to be one of the worst movies of all time. This 1995 Pauly Shore flick is only liked by Shore's fans, and even most of them hate it. This silly film is definitely one of Shore's worst attempts. It also stars Tia Carrere and Stanley Tucci
