Top 10 Movies Of 2007

The top 10 movies of 2007 were real hits. Many of the titles released in 2007 were sequels to previous hit movies. Below is a list of the top ten movies of 2007 in no particular order:

  1. Spider-Man 3” “Spider-Man 3” stars Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and Topher Grace. Things are going pretty good for Peter until Harry seeks to avenge his father’s death. In addition, the Sandman comes into play and gives Spider-Man another challenge. Peter accidentally comes across a wicked goo that turns his suit black and makes him feel more powerful, but along with that power comes an evil that he must fight.
  2. Shrek the Third” “Shrek the Third” stars the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz, along with many other well-known names. Shrek is off to find the heir to the throne of Fiona’s father. Just as Shrek is leaving, Fiona tells him she's pregnant.
  3. “Transformers” “Transformers” was definitely one of the top ten movies of 2007 starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. The Autobots and Decepticons have truly come to life in “Transformers.” When Sam buys a used car and discovers it is giant robot, he is thrown into an ancient battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons.
  4. “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End” Of course, “Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End” was one of the top ten movies of 2007 starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley . In this final chapter, everyone from the previous films meet up to find Captain Jack Sparrow in the land of the dead.
  5. “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” The sixth movie in the Harry Potter series was released June 2007. This long-awaited movie definitely deserves to be on the list of top ten movies of 2007. Harry returns to Hogwarts to find it much different than when he left. Things have become more chaotic and have grown darker for Harry and his pals.
  6. “I am Legend” “One man survives a deadly sickness which turns everyone infected into zombie-like creatures. Immune and a doctor, he has lived alone with his dog in New York City trying to find a cure.
  7. “Alvin and the Chipmunks” Dave Seville is a struggling songwriter and has just been shot down again when three chipmunks hitch a ride home with him in a basket of baked goods. He soon finds out that these chipmunks can sing. The four of them become a team and a family, but only after realizing how Uncle Ian has taken advantage of them.
  8. “Knocked Up” “Knocked Up” is a comedy deserving of the top ten movies of 2007. Career-oriented Allison meets Ben in a night club. After partying all night, they have a one night stand and don't see each other for about eight weeks. Allison realizes she is pregnant and finally contacts Ben. The two discusses the situation and decides to try and be together for the baby.
  9. “Juno” “Juno” stars Ellen Page. Juno is a sixteen-year-old who is dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. After deliberation, she decides to give the baby up for adoption.
  10. “Superbad” “Superbad“ stars Michael Cera, Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. "Superbad" is the tale of three guys in their senior year on high school trying to get some alcohol for a party. But things don’t always turn out the way you want, especially for these guys.
