Sick of watching disappointing sequels and looking for the best sequels that don't disappoint? Look no further because here is the complete list of the five best sequels that don't disappoint. So sit back, relax and enjoy the article.

  1. "Lethal Weapon 2" The first "Lethal Weapon" started the buddy cop movie genre. The second "Lethal Weapon" made the first one look horrible. It exceeded expectations and is one of the best sequels ever produced. With a better storyline, better acting and better action scenes, "Letha Weapon 2" is our number one sequel that don’t disappoint. "Lethal Weapon 2" is about Riggs and Murtaugh taking care of a federal witness while battling South American drug dealers.
  2. "The Dark Knight" No film in recent memory had as much hype as "The Dark Knight." It manages to exceed all those expectations. With one of the best performances of the past decade, Heath Ledger showed Hollywood that he is one of the best actors to ever set foot in front of the camera. "The Dark Knight" is about Batman's continued fight against crime.
  3. "Toy Story 3" With an eleven-year gap between sequels, fans wondered if "Toy Story 3" could still have the magic of the first two. Needless to say, it does. With an incredible heartwarming story, "Toy Story 3" finishes the story that they started with the first. "Toy Story 3" is about Woody saving the gang from a day care where they thought they would be played with.
  4. "Spider Man 2" While "Spider Man 3" could not be on our list of the best sequels that don’t disappoint, "Spider Man 2" can be on this list. With an incredible story and realistic action scenes, "Spider Man 2" exceeded all expectations when it was released in 2004. The third one, however, was a major let down. "Spider Man 2" is about Peter Parker trying to take down his childhood hero Dr. Octavius.
  5. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One" While "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two" may soon replace Part one on this list of the best sequels that don’t disappoint, "Part One" deserves to be on the list for awhile. While it does not have the most action scenes out of all the Harry Potter films, there is a fight scene this film has the best ones out of the seven part series. Unlike the previous films, you could feel the characters emotions throughout the movie. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One" is about Harry and his friends trying to save the wizarding world from Lord Voldermort.
