7 Most Embarrassing “I’m Going To Disney World” Super Bowl Ads

Santonio Holmes and Ben Roethlisberger

One of the most famous advertising slogans of the last 30 years is Disney’s “I’m going to Disney World,” usually uttered by an NFL player celebrating his team’s victory in the Super Bowl. As you might imagine, this is also one of the most embarrassing advertising slogans of the last 30 years.

In case you’re not familiar with the formula, it goes like this: Voice over guy says something like “Gary H. Football Player, you just won the Super Bowl! What are you going to do next?” To which Gary answers “I’m going to Disney World!”

Ugh, right?

Now, let’s get this over with right off the bat: All of these ads are pretty embarrassing, so we might as well start with the very first one. Overly sentimental music, weird hair, awkward line-reading – all the ingredients are here.

Here’s a more recent one that’s embarrassing because of all those rape allegations. And obviously I’m not talking about Santonio Holmes.
