Everyone loves to watch people beating the shit out of each other. But not everyone has the time or know-how to find the underground fighting rings in your area, so it might be a good idea to try the video store instead. “Fight Club” is an obvious one, but what comes after that? These six movies vary in their similarity to “Fight Club,” but they all share one important quality: People beating each other up for various reasons. And isn’t that what it’s all about?

Bruce Lee’s most famous unfinished action movie, uh, isn’t that good. The tricks being used to hide the fact that Bruce died in the middle of production are cheap and obvious. But there’s an important sequence still intact that is valuable to fans of the “men fightingsubgenre. Bruce Lee fights an impossibly tall (and blind) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in a pagoda. It might not be as raw and gritty as “Fight Club,” but it’s still one of the best fight scenes of all time.
