<p>A piece of ‘<span data-scayt_word=80s pastiche, “St. Elmo’s Fire” featured a number of bad hair choices (see: Moore, Demi), but Rob Lowe’s ‘do was the worst of the bunch. A greasy, mullet-ish, hippie-ish mess of terrible, he set it off with a dangly earring and some headbands. Oh, and phony saxophone camera mugging. Rob’s career bounced back, but only after people forgot about his embarrassing hair in this flick.

John Travolta, “Pulp Fiction.”

Travolta made his mark as Vinny Barbarino, a feathered-haired Sweat Hog in the ’70s. But 20 years later, his Vincent Vega haircut didn’t do him any favors. Fortunately, his performance in the movie was excellent, which helped overshadow his greasy extensions and made everyone forget about this hairstyle that was embarrassing for everyone involved.
