6 High-Profile Actor Bromances

Matt Damon and George Clooney

GET OUT OF THE SHOT, BRAD! CAN JUST ONE THING NOT BE ABOUT YOU?

Man, these guys must have really hit it off during that first Ocean’s movie, because since then, they’ve appeared in Syriana, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, where Damon made a brief appearance (alongside Brad Pitt) as a bachelor.

They’ve both been voted People Magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive,” so I assume that most of their conversations have to do with how sexy they are, and how they can raise the bar to be even sexier next year. Oh, to be a fly on the wall for those conversations!

One must wonder if there’s trouble in paradise, though, as Clooney and Damon have worked a whole host of specials, talk shows, and documentaries together, but haven’t been in a feature together since Syriana back in 2005. I hope everything is ok.

Dom Deluise and Burt Reynolds

I didn’t know much about their pairings until I started this list, but it turns out that they were good friends (Who WASN’T Burt good friends with in the 70’s?), and consequently acted in a ton of movies together. Most notably, they starred in Cannonball Run together, but also All Dogs Go to Heaven, Cannonball Run II, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Silent Movie, Smokey and the Bandit II, and The End.

Deluise was rarely the leading man, cause, honestly, who’s gonna upstage Burt? That’s right. No one. Sadly, their ventures together are done, because Deluise passed in 2009, but I’ve got a feeling that All Burt Reynoldses and Dom Deluises Go to Heaven as well, so they’ll reunite whenever Burt Reynolds is done being awesome on this earth.
