Nostalgia is a double-edged sword, but you'll be heading for a trip down memory lane with these 5 Disney movie songs. It's hard to beat catchy hooks and lyrics that won't get you stared down by disapproving grandmothers you pass on the sidewalk while singing. Fall back into a past filled with some of your old cartoon friends and nemeses.

From "Robin Hood," "Oo-De-Lally" is a catchy piece of sing-along perfection. "Oo-De-Lally" is a little animated story within a story about Robin Hood and Little John versus the Sheriff of Nottingham all wrapped up with one of those special nonsense choruses that bring a smile to your face. There are enough words jammed together that it becomes a tongue twister for children and adults alike. The bonus to any parent, uncle or aunt is this movie is old enough that you don't have to worry about the kiddos wanting any merchandise cause there hasn't been any for decades.

"The Bare Necessities"

With a bear singing and shaking his furry rump, you know there has to be a quality Disney movie song coming down the pipe. "The Bare Necessities" is a song that fires up in your head at random moments and keeps prodding your brain until you sing along. Here's a song from "The Jungle Book" that requires Google to find out what a prickly pear was and a private space to shake your own bear butt around the house. Stress falls away as you concentrate on the good things in life while Baloo the bear sings backup vocals so you never have to go solo.

"Be Our Guest"

A Disney song that helps you out while knocking out your cleaning tasks, "Be Our Guest" is a fun song to sing along to just as long as you don't try to mimic Angela Lansbury's voice because that could land you at the ear-nose-throat specialist. A perfect song from "Beauty and the Beast" to annoy any friends showing up to crash on your couch or to passively-aggressively inform your roommate that you aren't his mom and this isn't the W hotel.

"A Whole New World"

Once you hear this song from "Aladdin," there is no escape. There is not enough alcohol or juice boxes (depending on your age) to wipe this song out of your mind. The song is magic, but whether it's good or bad is for you to judge. As much fun as it is to sing along with, make sure that anyone around you isn't recording it because the Internet has too many regrets posted on it already. Just know that once you hear this song you will be forced to sing throughout the rest of your life, so go in with both eyes open if the song hasn't already claimed you already.

"Whistle While You Work"

Do you have a hungover colleague at work? How about a dormmate who is desperately trying to finish three essays by dawn? Want to make little kids smile? "Whistle While You Work" is the song you need to bust out. It's that beautiful weapon of musical destruction that will put a smile on your face while destroying those within hearing distance. It's hard to argue with the power of a catchy Disney movie song that features the power of whistling. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" brings joy or pain, depending on how you choose to use it.
