The Hangover.” This instant classic comedy about guys who head to Vegas for a Bachelor party and get into serious trouble has a major plot point revolving around the house finally losing. Zach Galifianakis’s character, arguably the best in the film, counts cards and wins enough money to pay off a ransom to rescue Dougie.

“Casino.” Robert DeNiro’s character runs a casino in the aptly titled Scorcese film and the inner workings of a casino are revealed, the House finally loses because the mobsters who are involved in the casino are taken down and DeNiro’s empire falls apart. In short, the house loses in an entirely different way.

<p><strong>“Casino Royale.” </strong>Who else could bring down the house better than <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/james-bond-555/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>James Bond</a>? In both the original “Casino Royale” and the <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/daniel-craig-802/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Daniel Craig</a> remake, the house is finally beaten by Bond in an epic poker game <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/scene/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>scene</a> that is a bit obvious to real poker players. Still, it’s one of the better moments in any Bond film.</p>
