Everyone loves a good crime movie, especially if the film has a clever plot. Additionally, a successful crime film must have characters who are able to make the movie unforgettable. For example, "Ocean's Eleven" was a great film because it had a very good plot that was full of suspense and unexpected twists. The popular 2001 film had an all-star cast. Below are five movies that are similar to "Ocean's Eleven."

"The Score"

Another popular 2001 crime movie, "The Score" starred Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, Angela Bassett, and Marlon Brando. Much like "Ocean's Eleven," "The Score" featured a well planned caper, plot twists, unexpected events, and a star-studded cast. It also costarred the beautiful Angela Bassett as she successfully filled the ever important eye candy role.

One of the more clever grifter movies is the 2003 film, "Confidence." Also starring Edward Burns, the movie is about a group of thieves who go to work for a crime lord named The King (Dustin Hoffman). To pay him back for the money they previously stole during a recent job, Jake (Burns), the leader of the con-men, proposed a plan to rob a bank owned by a rival mob boss. In doing so, Jake and his team were forced to stay one step ahead of the police and a host of criminals. T

Starring the likes of Robert Redford, Dan Akroyd, Ben Kingsley, and River Phoenix, "Sneakers" had nearly the same star power as "Ocean's Eleven."  Much like the popular 2001 film, "Sneakers" featured a group of talented thieves who were constantly avoiding ruthless killers and the authorities. The movie also had more twists and turns than an Italian village.

"The Sting"

Robert Redford and Paul Newman starred in this 1973 crime comedy about two grifters who plan a con job that involved stealing money from one of the city's most notorious crime bosses. Much like the acclaimed "Ocean's Eleven," "The Sing" featured a well thought out plan that went awry at critical times. With Newman and Redford the film featured two of  the biggest stars in Hollywood history.

Much more violent than "Ocean's Eleven," "Heat" is about a group of bank robbers who planned and executed numerous robberies. Of all the movies on this list, "Heat" had the best cast as it featured Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Ashley Judd, Tom Sizemore, William Fichtner, Jon Voight, and Danny Trejo as well as up-and-comers Natalie Portman, Dennis Haysbert, Amy Brenneman, and Jeremy Piven. Don't forget to keep an eye out for Hank Azaria in one of his less likable roles.
