If there was a George Washington of pornstar actresses Traci Lords would be it.  In the late '80s Lords was a well known porn star, but she fell in love with screen acting and for a time pursued both equally.  Eventually she abandoned porn and began a series of smaller film and television roles.  Her career came full circle when she played a stripper/porn actress in Kevin Smith’s comedy film “Zack And Miri Make A Porno.”  Giving new meaning to the term “method actor”.
