If you feel like you need something to look forward to, you need to look into the following 2012 movies. There's a great deal of amazing 2012 movies coming out, and some that are less than stellar. Here's a brief listing of some of the 2012 movies that you'll soon see in theaters.

  1. "Underworld 4." Starring the sexy Brit Kate Beckinsale, the fourth entrant in this popular 'vampires vs. werewolves' franchise is slated for a January 2012 release. There's no director attached to the project, and Ms. Beckinsale is really the only person so far we can say is going to be in it. However, the fact that we get to see more of her in a slick catsuit makes this one of the 2012 movies we can't wait to see.

  2. "Wrath Of The Titans." Remember the remake of "Clash Of The Titans?" Apparently it did well enough to warrant a remake as one of the biggest 2012 movies soon to come out! Sam Worthington returns as the mortal son of Zeus and is bound to be on more perilous adventures with mythical beasts. Jonathan Liebesman, who directed the first remake, is slated to return as director, while Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are in talks to reprise their roles as Zeus and Hades, respectively.

  3. "Dorothy Of Oz." This animated featured is slated to have a April 2012 release and is probably going to be one of the biggest films of the year! Dorothy is called back by Glinda The Good to revisit Oz and stop a new evil that hopes to take over the magical land. Dan Akyroyd, James Belushi, and Kelsey Grammer are all slated to voice the Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and Tin Woodsman.

  4. "the Avengers." Comic book fans have been hoping for this day to come, and May 4, 2012 should be the release date of the Joss Whedon directed superhero mash-up! Stars such as Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Robert Downey Jr. all play their famed roles as members on the Avengers super-group, having to come together to fight their strongest adversary yet! This is definitely going to be one of the biggest 2012 movies ever!

  5. "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." In the personal opinion of this writer, this might be one of the most epic 2012 movies ever. Benjamin Walker is going to star as The Great Emancipator, who divides his time with saving our great Union from succession and the forces of the undead. Juxtaposed with real events in the Civil War, this movie based on the popular novel is sure to be one of the better 2012 movies out there!
