10 Best Life Quotes From Movies

Need to know the 10 best life quotes from movies to pick you up?  If you are more grammatically correct and need 10 quotes about life from movies to lift your spirits, this article can help you.

  1. “With great power comes great responsibility.” We all know this quote from “Spider Man.” It’s also true. The more power you have, the more people expect of you.  Peter Parker interprets this to mean he has to use his power to protect people.  The question each of us must ask is how do we interpret it in our own lives?
  2. “Many that die deserve life. Many that live deserve death. Can you give it to them? Therefore, be not so quick to deal out death in judgment, for even the very wise cannot foresee all ends.” This life quote reminds us why we should not keep lists of people who we think are better off dead. Gandalf gives this advice to Bilbo in “The Fellowship of the Ring.”
  3. “Faithless is he who says farewell when the road darkens.” When someone needs help, the worst time to turn their back on him is when things are getting worse. This quote also comes from “The Fellowship of the Ring.”
  4. I’d like to be remembered for my own small contributions to science, not for my relationship to some famous kookoo.” “Young Frankenstein” reminds us that we don’t want to ride the coattails of others. Forget for the moment that he recreates his grandfather’s work later in the movie
  5. What I’m talking about is a game, a game that can’t be won. It can only be played.” This life quote from “The Legend of Bagger Vance” is about life itself. We can’t win at life. We just have to take it day by day.
  6. Get busy livin’ or get busy dyin'.” We do not expect to see a lot of good advice in prison movies, but the “Shawshank Redemption” is loaded with it. It’s also a good movie to boot.
  7. “Why Was I Given the Power to Act?” While this isn’t the most inspirational life quote from “Team America: World Police,” it’s the only quote that can be included in this article  for the article to remain safe for work.  Obviously, we all have the power to act.  The whole point made is not to whine about your abilities. Use them to benefit your fellow man.
  8. The flower the blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all.” Most Disney movies follow a standard pattern involving a helpless princess who needs rescuing. “Mulan” abandoned this standard formula. The woman does the rescuing.   When we face tough times, our true colors shine through. Anyone can look good when things are going well.
  9. A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he’ll give you his.”  If only people could be as loyal as dogs are. This life quote gives us something to shoot for at least.
  10. “Who you were you ain’t never gonna be again.” Bagger Vance tells the golfer this line when he hears what happened to him in World War I. While our core personalities remain the same, we change over time.  We cannot become what we once were, we must accept who we are now

Note: The quote I wanted to include from Team America was about the three types of people in the world.  The quote seems very true, but it's stated in an extremely crude manner.  I guess I can't expect too much from the creators of South Park
