Here are the top 10 comedy movie trailers, in no particular order:

  1. "Wedding Crashers" (2005): Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn like to invite themselves to wedding parties to find and take advantage of the single woman desperate for love. Their foolproof plan works, until one falls in love with one of the girls. This is a perfect movie for those who love romantic comedy, with the emphasis on the comedic part.
  2. "The 40-year-old Virgin" (2005): Steve Carrell is a 40 year old man still holding on to his "V" card, only to find it a burden when he falls for a single and ready to mingle mother. Carrell is hysterical and makes you want to say “awe” at the same time.
  3. "Meet the Parents" (2000): Ben Stiller is a male nurse who wants to meet his girlfriend’s parents before proposing to her. Dad is more than he can handle, though, and anyone who has ever dealt with in laws can appreciate this movie.
  4. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (2008): Jason Segal and Kristen Bell show the pains of break up in this hysterical comedy. Segal’s character loses his girlfriend (who happens to be an actress), and goes on a pity vacation to Hawaii only to find Bell and new beau there as well. Segal’s pity party will keep you rolling.
  5. "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" (2004): Will Ferrell is Ron Burgundy. The hottest, sauciest and most sexually desirable newsman in the 1970s. When a female employee threatens to take his title away, things get messy. Any news person should watch and recite this movie.
  6. "DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story" (2004): Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor and Vince Vaughan ban together to stop their local gym from being overtaken by a corporate health fitness chain. The weapon of choice? A dodge ball team. This movie will win over those with a heavy competivie spirit.
  7. "Superbad" (2007): Michael Cera and Jonah Hill are two best friends who are determined to supply a party with booze and get some ladies along the way. Their failed adventures lead them to find out how co-dependent they really are. How man high school guys have been there, even if they don’t want to admit it?
  8. "The Hangover" (2009): Zack Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha team up to give their buddy the best bachelor party ever, only to end up getting drunk and losing him in Las Vegas. They spend the rest of the film trying to find him again and run into problems along the way. It’s funny to watch, just pray it doesn’t happen to you!
  9. "Knocked Up" (2007): What happens when a party animal and a drop dead hottie hook up for a one night stand and end up pregnant? Watch what happens as Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl attempt to bring a child into the world together, even though they were never together to start with. An unlikely relationship develops. Perfect for a romantic with a thick skin and serious sense of humor.
  10. "Blades of Glory" (2007): In this Olympics inspired comedy, Will Ferrell and Jon Heder both get stripped of their gold medals and banned from men’s single competition. This duo, which clashes in every way possible, figures out that if they team up they can compete as a pair’s team. The only problem is they hate each other. The way they figure out to work together is hilarious.

Everyone should watch these movies at least one. There is sure to be one on the list that will make it into your top comedy movies as well!
