  5. "The Devil's Arithmetic" This 1999 television movie featured Kirstin Dunst as a Jewish teen who experiences the concentration camps when she is sent back in time as her grandmother's cousin.
  6. "Life is Beautiful" - This 1997 film won three Oscars at the Academy Awards and told the story of a Jewish man who uses humor to get his son through the every day life and death of the death camps.
  7. "The Pianist" – This movie starred Adrien Brody, who won an Oscar for his performance, as as Polish Jewish musician during the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto during the Holocaust. It was directed by Roman Polanski and won a total of three Oscars.
  8. "The Reader" – Based on the book by the same name, this film starred Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes and was released in 2008. It depicted the relationship of a young boy and his lover and how he returns to defend her against war crimes during the Holocaust. Kate Winslet won an Oscar for her portrayal in the movie.
  9. "Defiance" – "Defiance" was released in 2008, starring Daniel Craig and Liv Schrieber as Jewish brothers that join Russian resistance fighters to protect Jewish citizens during the Holocaust.
  10. "Sunshine" – This 1999 movie starred Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz and was about a Hungarian Jewish family during the Holocaust. It was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards.
