<description>Interesting list of good films, but your title implies that you were going to rank German War movies (meaning German-made, such as DOWNFALL, which you do include). Shining Through, Battle of the Bulge, and Telemark are all Hollywood efforts, while Winds of War was a U.S. television mini-series. A couple of German-made WWII films that are excellent include THE BRIDGE (1950s, about a group of boys conscripted to fight near the end of the war), and STALINGRAD (1995, I think), about that epic battle. WWII buffs might want to check out my novel, THE FUHRER VIRUS. It is a fictional spy/conspiracy story for adult readers and can be found at www.eloquentbooks.html.com, www.amazon.com, and www.barnesandnoble.com.

Thanks,
