Get your martial arts fix with these 10 classic Kung Fu movies. Martial arts movies are a large sub genre of action films. Classic Kung Fu movies are a large part of that genre. These movies are still widely popular today and many of the people involved with the movie are well respected names in the industry.

  1. “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” (2000). In this classic Kung Fu movie a two warriors pursue a stolen sword and a notorious fugitive. The Yun-Fat Chow, Michelle Yeoh and Ziyi Zhang.
  2. “Enter the Dragon” (1973). In this classic Kung Fu movie a martial artist spies on a crime lord so he can get into a tournament. The movie stars Bruce Lee, John Saxon and Kien Shih.
  3. “Fist of Fury” (1971). In this classic Kung Fu movie a man swears an oath to remain non-violent but his principles are tested when there are mysterious disappearances at the ice factory he works at. The film stars Bruce Lee, Maria Yi and James Tien.
  4. “Drunken Master” (1978). In this classic Kung Fu movie a boy that lacks discipline must learn a strange style of Kung fu to stop an assassin. The movie stars Jackie Chan, Siu Tien Yuen, and Jang Lee Hwang.
  5. “Five Deadly Venoms” (1978). In this classic Kung Fu movie a dying teacher orders his last student to visit five of his former pupils, who have each been taught a different form of Kung Fu. The film stars Sheng Chiang, Philip Kwok and Feng Lu.

  9.  “The 36th Chamber of Shaolin” (1978). In this classic Kung Fu movie the some patriots have set up their base by disguising as school masters. This film stars Chia Hui Liu, Lieh Lo and Chia Yung Liu.
  10.  “The Prodigal Son” (1981). In this classic Kung Fu movie a rich man’s son believes he is a great Kung Fu fighter until he is bested by an actor and then decides he needs to find a new teacher. The film stars Biao Yuen, Ching-Ying Lam and Samm Hung Kam-Bo.
