“Basket Case” (1982)-It’s hard to pick one scene from this movie to put on this list of the ten worst horror movie scenes. Seeing as every scene in this movie takes horrible to a whole new level. But the worst by far is when the doctor is first exposed to the flesh eating creature in the basket.
“Frankenhooker” (1990)- If you thought that the 80s were going to reign supreme on this list of the ten worst horror movie scenes, think again. The 90s gave way to more than their fair share of crappy horror movies. The scene in “Frankenhooker” where the evil pimp is murdered by the bits and pieces that the mad scientist used to assemble his lady love makes the list of the ten worst horror movie scenes because it is horribly put together, it’s creepy and funny.
“Death Bed the Bed the Eats” (1977)- One thing that all of the movies that made the list of the ten worst horror movie scenes have in common is weird plot devices. And “Death Bed the Bed that Eats” is no exception. In this scene the Death Bed strangles the girl sleeping in it before devouring her in what looks to be some sort of frothy apple cider.
“Gingerdead Man” (2005)- We still aren’t sure how this movie got made seeing as hiring professional mad man Gary Busey to do the voice of the Gingerdead Man had to take up 90% of this movies budget. But the part that makes the list of the ten worst horror movies scenes is where the Gingerrdead man somehow manages to run someone over with a car.
“Troll 2” (1990)- As if the first “Troll” wasn’t bad enough they decided that it needed a sequel. The scene that makes the list of the ten worst horror movie scenes is known amongst horror hounds as “The Great Goblin Death”. It happens in the last twenty minutes of the movie where the trolls are thwarted and meet a horrible grisly death.
“Night of the Lepus” (1972)- This entry on the list of the ten worst horror movie scenes proves that no matter what you do there is no way to make bunnies scary. You can make them giant sized and smear fake blood all over their giant bunny noses, but all you end up with is adorable, unrealistic bunny death.
“Jason X” (2001)- What was rumored to be the final chapter in the “Friday the 13th” series, the scene where Jason beats what are supposed to be holographic campers to death in their sleeping bags makes the ten worst horror movie scenes, for being badly thought out, badly shot and funnier than what was probably intended.
“Creature of Darkness” (2009)- Yet another movie that is so bad that it’s hard to pick just one scene to put on the list of the ten worst horror movie scenes. But the scene when the horribly fake aliens revel themselves to murder the group of unsuspecting humans is one of the worst scenes in the history of film.
“Amusement” (2008)- Despite being a scene that is absolutely awful, and a rip off of the classic clown scene in “Poltergeist”, this one of the ten worst horror movie scenes is just another thing that proves that clowns are evil creatures who should not be trusted under any circumstances.
“Jack Frost” (1996)- As if the crappy snow mad costume wasn’t bad enough, this one of the ten worst horror movie scenes also includes horrible line “The worlds most pissed off snow cone” and a bunch of craptacular baseball cliches.
