  1. “Poltergeist” is a 1982 film about a family that moves into a house that is haunted by something very evil. The house swallows the family's little girl and they have to hire a creepy psychic lady to come in and save her, and the rest of them. This best horror movie of the 80's stars Craig T.   2. “The Shining,” a movie from 1980 based on a Stephen King book, was enough to make people not want to stay in hotels. This creepy movie directed by Stanley Kubrick is about a family that become caretakers of a hotel, trapped in the winter, when the ghosts of the place start to mess with the husband's head. This 80's horror film stars Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall and Danny Lloyd.

  3. “An American Werewolf In London” was a 1981 film about a couple of American tourists visiting Britain. They get attacked by a werewolf and one of them is lucky enough to die.
