With the Slumdog Millionaire Cast there is a tremendous amount of talent. Each character in Slumdog Millionaire demanded a sympathetic reality to drama in and for the audience to relate. The primitive surroundings of Mumbai, India, truly depicted the enormous challenges that are endured by India’s people. Slumdog Millionaire came away with eight Oscars, including best picture and director for Danny Boyle

  1. Dev Patel. Del Patel played the role of Jamal K. Malik, a boy who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, who became a contestant on the Indian version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” Events in his life history are revealed when he is interrogated by the Police Inspector. Dev Patel was born on April 23, 1990, he is a known British film and television actor. Dev starred in the United Kingdom television teen drama "Skins" as Anwar Kharral.

  2. Frieda Pinto. Frieda Pinto played the role of Latika, the love of Jamil. Latika came into Jamal’s life at a very young age, when Jamal, and Latika were orphaned on the streets of Mumbai. "Slumdog Millionaire" has its twist and turns, but in the end Jamil and Latika are reunited and live happily ever after. Frieda Pinto was born on October 18, 1984, she is an Indian actress and model.

  3. Anil Kapoor. Anil Kapoor played the role of Prem Kapur in "Slumdog Millionaire" as the host of the “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” Show. Because Jamal is able to give the correct answers to questions asked by Prem on the “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” show, Prem details the police inspector to interrogate Jamal. Anil Kapoor was born on Decembe 24, 1959; he is an Indian actor and producer who chiefly appears in Bollywood films. Kapoor is one of the most recognized Indian actors; his first International film was "Slumdog Millionaire."

  4. Irrfa Khan. Irrfa Khan played the role of the Police Inspector who interrogates Jamal by showing a videotape of him answering each question. Jamal proves through his childhood and boyhood survival techniques that he is quite innocent. "Slumdog Millionaire" captures the unfairness of how a third world perceives you are guilty until proven innocent.  Irrf Khan was born on November 30, 1962, he is an Indian actor in film, television and theatre. Khan appeared in many Bollywood films, in 2007, he appeared in the box office hits "Metro" and "Namesake", based on his performances, he received a Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award. He also appeared in the international films "A Mighty Heart" and "The Darjeeling Limited."
