Looking for law movies that aren't boring? Law movies can be incredibly complex, but very few movies can do them right by staying true to the genre without falling into tediousness and leaving viewers in boredom.

  1. "Erin Brockovich" The best of the law movies that aren't boring has to be this riveting movie starred by Julia Roberts. This legal drama was released in 2000 and dramatizes the true story of Erin Brockovich's legal fight with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
  2. "The Firm" This movies easily makes the list of best law movies that aren't boring, being on of the best legal thrillers ever to be produced. The movie had a great cast including good actors like Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman, Gary Busey, and even Ed Harris. The movie was based off of the John Grisham novel of the same name, which was released two years earlier in 1991. The best part of this movie was the plot it borrowed from that books, and it was only one of many law movies that aren't boring that were based off a Grisham book.
  3. "The Pelican Brief" This is yet another one of the law movies that aren't boring based off a John Grisham book. It is also another one of the law movies that aren't boring that Julia Roberts stars in. Her acting in this movie is superb, but it is topped by the amazing performance of Denzel Washington.
