“The Firm” Tom Cruise plays a hot shot attorney who seemingly lands the perfect job with a firm. The company, however, brings him on for more sinister reasons and he soon finds all aspects of his life monitored by the firm. Gene Hackman and Ed Harris co-star in this suspenseful law movie for guys.
“Primal Fear” In this gritty courtroom drama, Richard Gere plays the defense lawyer to a young altar boy accused of murdering a priest. Edward Norton plays the defendant in his first major movie role and Laura Linney co-stars as a tough-as-nails prosecutor. “The Client” This law movie for guys is about a young boy who witnesses the suicide of a lawyer connected to the mob. Soon, the mafia is looking for him and he needs his own lawyer for protection. Susan Sarandon stars as the attorney who must earn the boy’s trust in this suspense movie based on John Grisham’s novel.
“A Few Good Men” A movie that contains one of the most memorable courtroom showdowns in cinema, “A Few Good Men” revolves around the trial of two marines for murder. Tom Cruise plays their defense lawyer, while Demi Moore stars as a co-counselor. They quickly become at odds with their differing views of justice and the law. Jack Nicholson steals the show as a no-nonsense colonel who tries to prevent the lawyers from finding out the truth behind the case.
“The Verdict”Paul Newman shines in this law movie for guys. Newman plays a hardened lawyer who has resorted to settling and plea bargaining rather than trial work. When he is confronted with a medical malpractice case, however, he decides to take it to court and win back his dignity.

Lewis plays an Irishman falsely accused of planning an IRA bombing in England. Emma Thomson co-stars as an English lawyer who uncovers the police conspiracy that has kept him in jail for a crime he didn’t commit.
