"New Moon" quotes are both eloquent and witty. Starring Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, 2009's "New Moon" is the second film title in the "Twilight Saga" series.

"Well Gran, you might have noticed that my boyfriend glitters. It's just something he does in the sun. Don't worry about it." Here's one of "New Moon's" most humorous quotes from the character of Bella Swan. She's in the middle of a dream and is obviously feeling a little punchy. Her boyfriend's really a vampire, but it doesn't matter. Bella's heart only sees the good in Edward.

"Edward stood beside me, casting no reflection, excruciatingly lovely and forever seventeen." This is an almost wistful quote from Bella. Its language is reflective, with a hint of sadness. The plot of "New Moon" separates Bella and Edward in a near parallel storyline to Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."

"You can't trust vampires...Trust me." A somewhat sarcastic quote from the character of Edward Cullen. He's a vampire who isn't beneath poking fun at his own personality. There's one thing Edward Cullen knows for sure; his "kind" aren't people to count on for an open and honest relationship. They may, in fact, cause more harm than what they're worth.

"Bella, you give me everything by just breathing." This is one of "New Moon's" more memorable quotes. Edward replies with this line when Bella tells him she has nothing to give back to him. Simple and eloquent, it's a quote that reflects honesty, intimacy, and the power of love's inspiration.

"I love you. You're my only reason to stay alive...if that's what I am." Here's another thoughtful and endearing "New Moon" quote from Edward. He's speaking to Bella about his true feelings, yet Edward still manages to poke fun at the fact that he's a vampire. He's well aware that he isn't really alive or dead. It's a distinguishing characteristic that he doesn't share with Bella and one that will end up driving them apart.
